Communication Officer (m/f)

Main Responsibilities:

External communication

• Assumes responsibility for designing the communication strategy of the School and marketing adequately its brand;


• Implementing the tools for such external communication, including animation of social networks, community management and digital presence;


• Rethinking the school's website;


• Initiating partnerships with the education community locally and in Europe;


• Supporting the admission process through the creation of events (Open Doors) and communication strategy;


• Supporting the admission process with administrative follow up and communications to potential joiners.

Internal communication

• Animating all internal communication (in English), including newsletters and communication to families;


• Supporting the life of the school's community (students, parents and staff), including through its Parents-Teachers Association;


• Creating, organizing and communicating on events (conferences, get-together, team building....) for the community;


• Supporting the pedagogical team with external events.

Ideal Profile:

• Previous experience in Communication/Marketing with digital focus;


• Ideally with experience or particular motivation to work in a school;


• Good communication and interpersonal skills;


• Organized, multi-tasking and adaptable;


• Drive and enthusiasm;


• Native in English;


• Portuguese and French languages both written and spoken, are a plus.

Working environment:

• Previous experience in Communication/Marketing with digital focus;


• Fixed term contract until July 1st, 2020, with highly probable renewal/transition to undetermined position;
