About our client

Our client is a leading worldwide player in the sale of highly technically advanced products and solutions dedicated to clients of the industry sector. As part of a strong development in Africa, we are looking for an Export Technical Sales representative in Angola.

Job description:

Based in Luanda, you report to the Africa Export Manager. As a real entrepreneur, you act as Group key representative in the country as you are the first to develop new opportunities within the region.

In line with this role, you will be expected to fulfill the following assignments :

• Maintenance of existing customers as well development and expansion of the distribution network within the territory,
• Warehouse distributor and end user customer visits,
• Effective and timeous response to queries, enquiries and travel,
• Achievement of sales objectives and monthly sales reporting,
• Identifying valuable opportunities and initiatives and reporting back to management,
• Conducting marketing and competitor analysis,
• Determining and communicating product needs to management,
• Develop a pricing strategy and communicate pricing requirements,
• Liaising with internal sales, finance, logistics, marketing and technical functions on related issues.

Who we are looking for:

You have an engineering degree qualification and a minimum of 5 years field experience as Technical Sales in Angola with exposure to Oil & Gas, Agriculture and Transport industries as well as basic understanding of the Export documentation and process.
Highly autonomous with a strong entrepreneurship mindset, you are able to work with minimal supervision. You have excellent inter-personal skills, you are rigorous and well-organized to meet clients' requirements efficiently. You are fluent in Portuguese and in English. Travel within the territory as well as in south Africa and Europe are to be expected.
