Senior Software Engineer

We’re hiring a Senior Software Engineer / Technical Project Manager for a software development agency.

We’re especially interested in candidates from Portuguese-speaking African countries, as Portuguese and strong English are required for this role.

This is a hybrid role across:

• Hands-on software development
• Technical project management
• Client communication
• Requirements gathering
• Developer coordination
• Delivery management

We’re looking for someone with:

• C1 or native-level English
• Strong Portuguese communication skills
• 7+ years of software engineering experience
• Experience with Java, .NET, Python, React, Node.js, Angular, Go, Rust, or mobile app development
• Strong client-facing communication skills
• Experience managing developers or working closely with delivery teams

Contract structure:

• First 3 months, hourly contract
• After that, potential move to a full-time monthly salary contract

Hourly rate:

• Up to $50/hour based on candidate's qualities.
