OFFSHORE TECHNICIAN

• Responsible for performing operations offshore and maintenance of mechanical downhole tools;
• Plans, prepares, and coordinates operations at a wellsite, controlling quality of service delivery and execution during all phases of operations, to ensure procedures are performed in accordance with original equipment manufacturer’s standards, as well as job program;
• Performs maintenance and inspection on downhole tools and other equipment used in the application for downhole tools;
• Assembles and disassembles downhole tools;
• Ensures compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (H.S.E) regulations and guidelines;
• Promotes safety awareness and environmental consciousness and complies with all applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations.

• Fluent English (written and spoken);
• Minimum 2 years Offshore experience;
• Technical Degree;
• Good understanding of oil and gas field;
• Experience with downhole tool operation such as Drilling, Wireline, Slickline, Coil tubing, Wellbore cleaning tools, etc;
• Given the nature of oil field service work, the ability to communicate effectively with others is necessary;
• The ability to perform basic problem solving and mathematical calculations involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division;
• Good reading comprehension and writing skills;
• Good computer skills;
• Resilient, responsable and proactive.
