TCC Mechanical Assistant | Oil and Gas

1. Work as instructed by the Plant supervisor along with company intern standards;
2. Be able to work under pressure as per the in contingency plan;
3. Work in accordance plant supervisor and plant policy;
4. Inspect in / out skips landing/delivering;
5. Assist by producing timely report on the plant functioning hours;
6. Follow up performance and + Unit (total skips) control;
7. Candidate mechanical technician will be a subject matter expert;
8. Will perform and monitor preventive/predictive maintenance and carries out repair of a variety of fracturing equipment;
9. The candidate will possesses advanced diagnostic/troubleshooting knowledge and skills; 10 Candidate will perform advanced function testing to verify equipment readiness following maintenance. Candidate will;
10. have the ability to identify correct parts and locate them in a system search to enable accurate procurement of spares;
11. Ensures adherence, accurate input, and maintenance of data into Halliburton's system of record;
12. This role is responsible for following specific and detailed work processes within the Halliburton Management System (HMS) during daily job activities;
13. Responsible for mentoring junior technicians;
14. Responsible for ensuring duties are performed in a safe, efficient, and effective manner. Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations;
15. A high school diploma or equivalent and 3 years of experience in related mechanical fields are required;
16. A Technical School certificate is preferred.

1. Knowledge of waste (slops water, cement, etc);
2. Tank cleaning operations;
3. Waste specialist – able to read and interpret MSDS manifest;
4. Rig-based drilling waste management;
5. Thermal process versus ‘skip and ship’;
6. Reduced risk, cost and harm to the environment;
7. Offshore Job Services.

Qualifications & Certificates:
• Waste & Chemical Management – (University Qualification);
• Basic Safety Training;
• Confined Space Entry;
• Measurement & Equipment Inspection – TIC Council;
• Lifting Operations – Certificate;
• Danger Goods - Certificate;
• Medical Offshore;
• Seaman´s book.
