Operational duties:
 Ensure customers' complaints are solved adequately within preset time frame.
 Guide and assist in the maintenance activities whenever necessary.
 Liaise with garage supervisors on getting a daily operation overview based on which decision is taken to ensure efficient operation flow.
 Supervise technicians and personnel to ensure their services meet the standards of quality set by the company and to ensure optimal productivity and efficiency.
 Assign and designate job duties to staff.
 Ensure supplies are ordered for each job. Ensure correct job cards and job numbers are used and that time records are correct.
 Regularly report jobs progress and communicate delays or concerns with the Garage D.G.M.
 Ensure adequate maintenance of tools, equipment and other materials in the Service Area.
 Fix clear objectives for his team members to ensure their periodic assessment based on pre-set targets.
 Evaluate the performance of automotive repair staff in order to acknowledge efficient employees and guide underperforming ones.
 Facilitate the training and development of team members in the department, by providing feedback and coaching to support improvements in their job performance.
 Provide advice and technical assistance to team members.
 Assign and schedule work duties to staff according to their skills.
 Ensure company is compliant with its country of operations' rules and regulations.
 Ensure adequate measures are in place preserving and safeguarding company assets.
 Monitor the inspection of vehicles before and after repairs in order to identify faulty components, ensure complete fixing and repair.
 Monitor post-repair services such as test driving or other services that might be required.
 Ensure physical inventory count of company assets quarterly.
 Monitor the procurement of vehicle parts, automotive equipment and various other items required in an auto service department.
 Monitor inventory to regulate and ensure availability of required vehicle parts.

Financial duties:
 Drive the company towards achieving its yearly budget: top to bottom line.
 Maintain accurate record of all accounts and relevant financial information.
 Analyze the monthly P&L statement, clarify and justify variance.
 Contribute to the preparation of the yearly budget for submission by Sep end latest.

Management duties:
 Plan and supervise activities of all garage personnel.
 Submit Weekly, Monthly and quarterly reports with analysis & recommendations.
 Administer the professional environment within all garage departments.
 Implement Top management directions across all channels.
 Evaluate, analyze and recommend potential business opportunities.
 Supervise and assure proper compliance atmosphere across all garage departments.
 Handle the hiring and training of an effective service team whenever required.
 Be close to team members in order to guarantee motivation through proper guidance, training, assignments and assessment.
 Contribute to the formulation of policies & procedures and its effective implementation.
 Promote and develop company values.

Aptidões necessárias

Angolan nationality.
Technical Degree plus 10 years’ relevant experience.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive management experience in the automotive industry and specifically in running a car workshop, preferable with dealership garages.
Data-driven decision mentality, deep analytical thinking and wide technical expertise in the body shop repair and mechanical and electro-mechanical repair activities.
Balanced combination of strong leadership and conflict resolution skills, dedication to effective supervisory and control, and proven talents in critical thinking.
Computer literate, eager to learn and work on new operating software and systems and automated workflows.
Familiar and at least moderate level in using Microsoft Office components and precisely MS word and Excel.
English and Portuguese language proficiency is a must.
