General Ledger Accountant

• Responsible for the preparation of key reconciliations for all forecourt managed accounts and company operated sites respectively.
  
• Assist in conducting audits and compliance review of the company’s operation

Daily
- Input and review of the Company Operated sites’ Daily Sales Record Book
- Detailed review and compilation of cash shortages or overage for company operated sites
- Input and calculation of margins for forecourt operated sites

Monthly/ Adhoc

• Conduct actual audit activity as per audit programme specified by Internal Audit Manager across business areas
• Preparation of the monthly summary report surrounding wet stock and lubricants for reporting to Account Manager
• Prepare the Payroll reconciliation with HR.
• Handle specific audit assignments on fraud or theft
• Assist in following the implementation of the recommendations from external audit reviews
• Accomplish in required deadline the duties in his own responsibility in the month-end check list

- Prepare the monthly accounts’ analysis according with deadline. Propose solutions in case of discrepancies and very old pending items.

Accounting or related degree with two years experience in Audit or related Accounting position; incumbent must be ethically sound, credible and of sound character. Excellent cross functionality and mutual support with other departments and peers is expected. The ability to work under pressure, define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions is essential. Incumbent must have excellent verbal and written communication skills; may be required to work outside of normal business hours. Must have working knowledge of information systems, especially SAP or similar tools.
