Scale Chief

Head of Station: control and coordinate the interface of the different operational areas of the business unit (escala), namely the passenger, plate and cargo and mail areas. Ensure operational management between the business unit (Scale) and representatives of assisted companies and/or stakeholder representatives;
It ensures the effectiveness of the operation in accordance with the quality standards established by the company and guarantees compliance with both security standards, ensuring, in particular, the management of security operations, within the scope of the Scale;
The implementation, monitoring and control of the security measures and procedures included in the company Security manual, applicable to company flights at stopover, monitoring the activity of service providers contracted at the escala;
The representation of company before the local authorities that have security competences and the technical and operational report to the Security director of company, in terms of security; or safety standards;
Makes operational contacts with the airport authorities. Substitutes the Head of Business Unit (Delegate) in his/her absence, and represents him/her in the operation. depending on the functionality of the organizational structure, the head of Station may depend on the Delegate, maintaining a functional link to the directorate of Land operations, directorate of cargo and mail, directorate of flight operations, except for national scales that report to the directorate of Land Operations;
Ground Handling Operator / Crew: provide assistance at the board or at the baggage, cargo and mail terminals, in particular with regard to the storage and packaging of cargo, forwarding of baggage and passengers and the loading, unloading and towing of aircraft, collaborates with the ground assistance traffic technician in slab operations, preparing assistance equipment, transporting passengers and crew and loading and unloading the aircraft, being able, when
accredited, to operate specific equipment, namely, trailers, loaders, loads and tractors. Within the scope of the function, it can also store and package imported and exported cargo in warehouses, taking into account dangerous goods.
Operational Safety for Land, Cargo and Mail Operations: monitor and control ground handling activities, cargo and mail operations, so that the procedures described in the manufacturer and company manuals are complied with; ensure that all land, cargo and mail operations of the company are conducted in accordance with legal and safety requirements;
Monitor and evaluate the activities of subcontracted companies;
Prepare seminars and awareness-raising lectures for employees in the area on operational safety, procedures, standards and internationally accepted practices;
Identify hazards/risks and propose control measures within the scope of operation.

Angolan nationality or expatriate residing in Nairobi;
12th grade and relevant work experience;
Degree, plus experience (preferred);
Required Qualification/Certification in Security Operations Management and Security Crisis Management;
Knowledge or experience in Secretarial;
Possess knowledge of computers and data processing;
Computer knowledge from the User's point of view;
Comply with Processes and/or Programs/Plans
Ability to communicate in Portuguese and English (written and spoken);
Knowledge of state, airport and stopover providers security programs;
Knowledge of PNSAC, PNCQSAC and PNFTSAC;
Management of Aviation Security Operations;
