- Reports directly to and gets day-to-day work instructions and guidance from the site HUC Manager with functional (SCM) reporting to the MSP Contracts Manager 2. Coordinates, performs, monitors, reports and executes HUC and carry-over work materials management activities, for up to 18 months in Angola, alternating between onshore (in Soyo) and offshore, on a rotational basis 3. Oversees the Contractor's bag and tag and bar coding activities to ensure Contractor is adequately (correctly and timely) inventorying and providing materials management capabilities for a successful HUC campaign 4. Will review, evaluate, comment on and monitor Contractor's materials management procedure for use during the HUC campaign. 5. Accountable for working collaboratively with Company and Contractor materials coordinator, HUC Lead, HUC Managers and other team members in meeting project needs from a materials availability, materials gathering, tracking, inventorying, packing, tagging and shipping perspective. 6. Must be able to audit the completeness and accuracy of the materials list for each work pack and take appropriate action to mitigate material shortage or inaccuracies by alerting Contractor and Company team members. 7. Must be able to work with, review, analyze and audit material databases pro-actively and plan ahead 8. Must be able to pass the Company physical and “fit for duty” requirements and complete all required training (e.g. HUET)
Requisitos
Minimum Qualifications and Competencies:
10+ years of major capital project international construction experience, including greenfield and brownfield installation of offshore facilities, Requires excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to integrate effectively with EPCI contractor team to influence actions and plans. Must be a good facilitator. Ability to interface with diverse teams consisting of construction, commissioning, operations, engineering, and QA/QC. Previous construction management experience in remote offshore locations is a plus. Working knowledge of applicable industry codes and company standards and specifications.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (e.g. Access, Excel, Word and Power Point)
