Chief Financial Officer

With a University degree or a qualification in accounting, finance or business, you have a minimum of 10 years in a similar senior finance role in Angola. With a very good network in the banking domain, you have a very good understanding of the Angolan financial and banking sector.

A proven track record will also include experience in fast paced and changing environments, international exposure, the ability to manage a variety of internal and external relationships, leadership and executing strategy to maximize operational performance.Fluency in Portuguese and in English is mandatory.

This position will play a key role in supporting the CEO and the group in the delivery of the organization's strategic, financial and commercial activities. You will coordinate accounting and finance activities in the country.Your main duties will include but not limited to:

• Developing networking with the local banks,
• Achieving successful international bank transfers,
• Enhancing control while improving efficiency of the finance/accounting department,
• Monitoring the adherence of employees to the business guidelines, policies and procedures,
• Ensuring that the department's operations are in compliance with local and international laws and regulations, industry standards and contractual agreements,
• Improving the credit performance,
• Liaising with third parties: government representatives, external auditors and tax administration,
• Supporting and mentoring the finance team members across the Company,
