Technical Assistant/Helper

 Check vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order;
 Manoeuvre vehicles into the service workshop safely, ensuring they are positioned correctly to optimise the changing of the tyres;
 Ensure the vehicle is parked and is safe to work on prior to using any lifting equipment or processes;
 Use the appropriate power tools, pneumatic tools, and equipment in line with safe operating principals;
 Use pumps and general workshop equipment safely and highlight any faults or defects to the supervisor;
 Undertake power washing duties and ensure the safe operation;
 Undertake basic mechanical and electrical duties;
 Undertake rigging, spotting, and lifting duties as part of a team and under the direction of a supervisor;
 Maintain machines and general tools in good working order and managed any spare parts in line with company procedures;

 Fluent oral and written English;
 Class A CDL with Hazmat;
 Driving licence;
 Rough Terrain Forklift and Telescopic handler experience;
 Vacuum truck operator experience;
 Manual and powered pallet jack experience;
 Pneumatic pressure systems awareness and safety training;
 Basic computer competence;
 Defensive driving training;
 Man lifting operator;
 Basic diesel mechanic skills;
