Assistant Electrician

An Assistant Electrician supports the offshore electrical team in maintaining, repairing, and installing electrical systems on rigs, vessels, or platforms. This entry-level role is technical and hands-on, providing exposure to offshore electrical systems and preparing the candidate for a fully qualified Electrician role.

🔧 Key Responsibilities
Assist in installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment
Run cables, wiring, and conduits according to safety and technical standards
Support electricians during troubleshooting and fault-finding
Perform routine inspections and testing of electrical equipment
Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized manner
Follow offshore electrical safety protocols strictly
Assist in emergency power or system restoration when needed

Must have all offshore required documents (Covid 19 Certificate, Bosiet, Seamans Book, Valid Offshore Medical)
Basic electrical training or apprenticeship (preferred)
