Measurement and Analyzer Technician

Knowledge and experience of Liquid and Gas Measurement Principles;
Perform scheduled calibrations, troubleshooting, repair and installation of Electronic Flow Measurement equipment;
Provides training and mentoring of National Measurement Employees;
Maintains API Standards, Strategies, and other governance documents;
Schedule, coordinate, perform and/or witness meter proving of custody transfer meters, control meters, and densitometers;
Assists with new meter installations, routine maintenance, and ad-hoc break down maintenance for measurement systems (fiscal and allocation metering equipment).

Minimum of 7 years’ experience as a Measurement Tech in the oil and gas industry.
Hold a NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in Measurement (Oil and Gas)
Ability to use Windows based PC Systems to prepare reports and complete and organize paperwork to track calibrations of equipment
Knowledge of the maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of various types of measurement equipment
Ability to think critically, troubleshoot problems and evaluate solutions
