Descrição
• Assures the uniform and profitable administration of established labor relations programs by representing the company at contract negotiations, grievances, disciplinary hearings, arbitrations, and providing research and pertinent data for litigation proceedings.
• Simultaneously handle multiple union labor contracts.
• Reviews, interpret and make recommendations to establish and improve company labor relations policies and programs, and amend/negotiate terms of contracts as required to adhere to company policies and objectives and laws and regulations.
• Serves as subject matter expert on labor agreements, and employment-related policy and programs.
• Ensures that all union contracts and company policies and programs are interpreted correctly and applied consistently across the organization.
• Establishes and maintain professional and productive relationships with union leadership.
• Maintains in-depth knowledge of labor laws and regulations, court and arbitration decisions, and national, local and competition’s settlement trends.
• Monitors disputes to avoid production interruptions.
• Assists other location management with labor relations concerns.
• Oversees and/or participates in EEO, employee relations and ethics related investigations as required, and aid in resolution.
• Provides Angoalissar Code of Conduct/Ethics counseling and conduct employee ethics compliance presentations and training as required.
• Workers Compensation Case Management: track recordable, notify department on/off work status, set-up new claims with Third Party Administrator, set-up surveillance requests, administer pro se settlement meetings, conduct compensability interviews, etc
• Assists with Family Medical Leave Act and Short/Long Term Disability Division Liaison Management.
• Conducts Human Resources/Labor Relations training for hourly and salaried personnel, as required.
• Administers Unemployment Compensation Claims.

• Minimum 5 years recent labor relations leadership experience, with emphasis on negotiating of collective bargaining agreements, arbitrations, disciplinary actions, and grievances. Manufacturing/industrial experience preferred.
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business Management, HR Management, Employee Relations, Labor Relations or related discipline. Combination of education and 7 years related HR/Labor experience to successfully perform the essential job functions and responsibilities and roles may be considered in lieu of degree requirement.
• Angolan Nationality.
• Employee relations and ethics related investigations experience.
• Demonstrated ability to mediate and use conflict resolution techniques.
• Individual must be able to manage and maintain confidential information.
• Individual must be a highly motivated self-starter who can thrive in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with internal/external customers exercising extreme diplomacy.
• Most possess excellent analytical, communication, leadership, negotiation, problem-solving, decision-making skills.
• Detailed individual with high degree of accuracy and the ability to work under pressure.
• Must be able to multi-task, meet aggressive deadlines, and identify ways to streamline processes.
• Some travel required.
