Purpose of the position;
To Control/Follow up the Sea/Air freight operations with the BU Cells in PA AO. To ensure high productivity and operational excellence in order for customer satisfaction by fast/Clear and smooth cargo clearance and delivery.
Key Tasks;
Carry Support tasks regarding file management in a timely and correct manner:
documentation check with origin Offices;
Follow up/collection of missing documents;
follow up of the process with Customs Clearance department/Cells;
Control the Projects file for invoicing;
Follow up of Invoices submission
Update regularly:
Operational Maps (excel follow up Invoices);
SAP (Shipping Run)
Other program as required
Follow instructions of the IV O&G/PPOG Manager regarding the contact with clients, including:
Control of the Quality Information at Report with the Cargo Status prepared by the Cell teams
Make sure the Status Report is send to the Origin/Client at agreed Deadlines
Check the Invoice Quality and Rates
Follow up on the Invoice Time and submission
Follow up with Finance Team on the Project Invoices payments
Work on the DMT Invoices for the PPOG dpt
Advise clients on delays and their consequences (fines, etc);
Participate in the meetings with the client;
Educate the client/Origin on processes and procedures regarding requirements for shipping to Angola and customs clearance checklist;
Other tasks as requested by the IV O&G and PPOG Mgr

Keep abreast of current and new contracts\tariffs and assist Marketing & Sales department as necessary;
Keep abreast of Panalpina services and new developments;
Participate actively in improving the quality of Panalpina operations and services;
Apply HSE rules and requirements at your function and report HSE observations;
Keep your workspace organized and follow Clean Desk Policy;
Apply the CISP and respect the code of conduct;
Carry out other tasks as required by the IV O&G and PPOG mgr
