The certified scaffold erector shall understand and practise correctly:
• Erection and dismantling procedures for all types and configurations of scaffold when installing ladders, handrails, walkways, platforms and gangways, and erect, move, dismantle frame scaffolding, mobile tower scaffolding, tube clamp scaffolding and system scaffolding.
• Safe ground level equipment handling
• Scaffolding material and equipment identification
• Knowledge of basic rigging practises
• Job planning and communication
• Read, understand and be able to apply specified engineered drawing
• Scaffold Inspection
• Adheres to company policies, procedures and works drug and alcohol free
• The ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions and maps
• Have proven knowledge of basic scaffolding theory
Requisitos
Scaffold erectors are required to have a minimum two (2) years practical experience and completed 40 hours of formal scaffold training. This must have been obtained through the mining or oil and gas sectors and an industry accredited training facility.
General knowledge, certification required for the above positions:
• Must be able to work at heights and operate hand held power tools
• English speaking is preferable
• Certificate of medical fitness
• Fall protection and current offshore HSE requirements
• Each individual candidate will be required to present on interview letters of certifications or references of past working experience.
